Non riesco a non ascoltarla e canticchiarla: è la canzone "Blurred Lines" di Robin Thicke (feat. T.I. & Pharrell Williams). 

Se si legge la traduzione del testo della canzone si capisce di essere entrati in un dialogo tra un uomo e una donna in cui è l'uomo a rivolgersi a lei per una seduzione non così velata:

Robin Thicke ha spiegato che "Blurred lines" è dedicata alle donne, è un omaggio al gentil sesso. Il cantante ha respinto le accuse nate non tanto dalla canzone e dal suo testo quanto dal video accusato di sessismo.

Il video "Blurred lines" ha scatenato moltissime polemiche, specie nella puritana America. Il video ha due versioni: la prima presentava il cantante e Pharrell Williams, che ha collaborato al brano, in compagnia di alcune modelle in topless; nella seconda, invece, riportata sotto le modelle sono in costume o lingerie.

Le parole dello stesso Robin Thicke per commentare la vicenda "Volevo che il videoclip fosse divertente e stupido. La regista ha proposto che ci fossero delle ragazze nude. Poi abbiamo pensato che sarebbe stato meglio farne anche una versione in cui le modelle erano vestite. Quando li abbiamo visti entrambi, quello dove erano nude rimaneva il video più divertente. Per me, per i miei amici. E alla fine è andata come si sa. Io e Pharrell abbiamo un grande rispetto per le donne e le amiamo molto. Hanno lo stesso potere degli uomini, sia che siano 'brave' sia che siano 'cattive'".

"Sono bellissime così come sono - ha aggiunto Thicke - Ma la linea che divide le brave dalla cattive ragazze, così come gli uomini dalle donne, è una linea ormai offuscata. Le differenze di genere non sono così marcate come pensa la gente, perché più conosci una donna più ti rendi conto che ha gli stessi desideri, necessità e stranezze di un uomo. Solo ha la pelle più morbida.. ".
